I'm sorry to hear you’re experiencing compatibility issues between your Galaxy Watch6 Classic and Galaxy S24 Ultra, @Findley473

Please follow these steps carefully, these have resolved similar issues in many cases:

  1. Restart both devices
Turn off and back on both your Watch6 Classic and S24 Ultra.

  2. Uninstall & Reinstall Galaxy Wearable and Plugins

    • On your S24, uninstall both Galaxy Wearable and Galaxy Watch6 Plugin (or Gear S Plugin if it's installed).

    • Reinstall only the latest Galaxy Wearable app from the Play Store.

    • Let it auto-install the necessary Watch6 plugin during setup

  3. Clear Bluetooth cache
Go to Settings > Apps > System apps > Bluetooth, then clear cache and data. Restart your phone

  4. Check app permissions & battery settings
Ensure Galaxy Wearable and Watch6 Plugin have all required permissions, are excluded from battery optimisation, and have “Allow restricted settings” enabled (if available).

  5. Try a fresh pairing

    • Turn on Bluetooth on both devices.

    • With the Wearable app open, follow on-screen pairing instructions, confirming all prompts on both devices.

    • Be patient—sometimes setup pauses around 60–70% before completing.

  6. Factory reset the Watch (if nothing else works)
On the watch: Settings > General > Reset, then attempt pairing again.

I've tried all these and it still says it can't pair, and is incompatible
