Galaxy Watch SOS

Recently purchased the Galaxy Watch 4 (bluetooth).  Testing out the features and realized that SOS doesn't work unless you're next to your phone or wifi.  Granted, I didn't buy the watch for this feature, but it would be nice if there was a way to store a few emergency contacts on the watch for the SOS feature, so it doesn't have to be connected to the phone.  Maybe in a future update, Samsung can provide the option to add emergency contacts to the watch for emergency situations where you're not near your phone or wifi.

I understand what you are meaning but with the BT version even if you could add emergency contacts to the watch then without a connection to the handset or WiFi there would be no connectivity to call or message the contact.
I have a I.C.E number stored within the contacts on my watch as well as N.o.K numbers within my Samsung Profile - which appears at the top of the contacts list. So if the worst did occur then there's contact details for someone
