Galaxy Watch predictive text

Hey all, I frequently head to a suburb called Heathmont. When I try to type this into my Galaxy Watch, it wants me to go to Heathrow, which is annoying as this is about 50000 km away in the UK! The word Heathmont does not appear in the suggested words even though Heathrowv and Heathrowy do.

Does anyone know how I can add a word to predictive text? Surely it must be a simple process...

I got this from Samsung support website if this helps.

How can I personalise and turn predictive text on and off on my Samsung Galaxy device?
  • 1 Open the Settings app.
  • 2 Tap General management.
  • 3 Tap Language and input.
  • 4 Tap On-screen keyboard.
  • 5 Tap Samsung Keyboard.
  • 6 Tap Smart typing.
  • 7 Tap the Predictive text switch to turn predictive text on or off.

It might be worth turning it off, typing the word and then seeing if it saves in predictive text.

Thanks No fear. This is essentially the help I (eventually) got from chatting on their FB Messenger support. I can't believe they don't have an area in settings or some such, where simply type in words that you want your device to know, or that the dictionary on my watch doesn't sync with the one on my phone!

Thanks

You'd think they could put a small button easily accessible to turn the predictive text on or off depending on what you're trying to say...

Thank you, I was searching for a way to turn off predictive text, and was not finding it!
