Galaxy watch 4 watch faces don't download

Some galaxy watch 4 faces won't download, I keep getting network error even though I'm connected to my network. I get the same error on mobile data and WiFi. I've tried restarting phone and watch and still get the same error. Anyone know what's causing this?

Hi there.  I managed to fix this error by changing the permission settings on the app.  I noticed that in the permissions setting in the Wear app there is an optional permission for the camera that says "used to customise watch face".  I searched for Permission Manager app in the main phone setting, when to camera, found the Wear app and toggled in to "allow" and sure enough I was then able to download any watch face

Hi,
I was having issues downloading watch faces and apps, turns out I'd recently changed my Google password and the watch needed to re-authenticate itself against my account as being a valid device (Two Factor Authentication). 

On the watch, open the Play Store, then scroll down to the Accounts button and check that the watch is connected to your Google Account (it should show your account name and user image).   In my case, instead of displaying my google user account, it was saying Google needed to authenticate my device, so I followed the prompt, verified my watch via TFA when prompted to do so on my phone and the watch has been downloading apps and watch faces with no delay ever since.

Not saying this will fix everyone's problems but it might be worth checking if you have issues downloading apps and watch faces, there was no error message showing up in the Play Store on my phone or in a web browser to say my watch was no longer being recognised.

I have latest software and there is no update due. However I am still facing the issue. Earlier there was no issue in my watch. But it started after I changed my mobile to Samsung Galaxy A73 from Galaxy A50.

Hey i went to camera under permission manager but the galaxy wear app is not listed any help?

Same problem, recently bought watch4 and can't install Samsung watch faces 😒

Factory reset and reinstallation of wearable didn't help.

Still having this problem June 2022 on my Galaxy S22 Ultra... I've tried all the solutions listed here and still won't download

I am facing the same issue still June 2022. I am using Oneplus 6T. Please note, that I can download watch faces from the play store. But those watch faces are showing under the watch faces section in GW4, unable to download. Every time it is showing "There was a problem connecting to the network, try again later". I have reset my watch several times, and also I have tried to change my Samsung account as well, but no luck. Please let me know if anyone can help. Thanks

I have the same issue, watch faces will NOT download.  Just keeps the circle going.  Have tried all the solutions here with no fix.  Sure would be nice to download some new watch faces!
