Galaxy Watch 4 only showing latest Messenger message (clears previous)

Hi, I have a Galaxy Watch 4 with Messenger notifications turned on. When I receive a Messenger notification from someone, it will show up normally, but if I receive another message from the same person, then the previous message will be cleared, and I will only see the latest message. I used to be able to see the message history and see all the unread messages at once. This issue has occurred on and off for me.

Does anyone have advice or seen similar issues? Thanks!

I have exact same problem with the Messenger. Only the last message is seen on the watch.

Problem is probably in some new update of Messenger. I tried to downgrade Messenger to version 343.0.0.0.445 (from ApkMirror) and I disabled App updates in Messenger menu and notifications works OK again (now it works for a week OK).

Reinstalling messenger fixes the issue for a few days. Also when this bug happens, the notifications on my phone have the same buggy behaviour.
