Galaxy Watch 4 LTE heat / no make/receive calls

Dear Fellow Users

A small question please. Got a Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 LTE in Greece. Less than 1 week old and  when I did set up my LTE card i find that it cannot make calls nor receive calls, it can receive/send sms, and claims that it heats up when it tries to make a call. Once heating it stalls for some time in order to cool. Took it to repair, where many parts were deemed defective and were replaced. However, the "new" watch gets the same issues, with overheating less.

Reading through the posts it seems that I am not the only one with issues, but I am a little perplexed. Is it the connection company or the watch or a combination? What is the verdict until now ? Is the incapability to make/send calls related to the heating ?

Thank you for the time Best thx

Best

My Galaxy watch 5 pro did this once. But at the time I was very hot, my watch had just recently been charged and restarted plus the sun was beaming down on it. Only happened once but I'm guessing in certain conditions the watch will struggle I think it's just the way it is unfortunately

Iv had this issue since watch 4 lte u can use it perfect while connected to phone but once used as a stand alone device it switches to airplane made for 15 mins to cool down the reason behind this is the antenna in watch is very small so if you are in an area with amazing signal chances are you'll be fine but if you are in doors or low signal you will face this all the time

@Lordlinley I am sorry about your Watch4. We take these matters very seriously. Does this heat up only when using it as stand alone?
