  • my watch must have an update for the ECG says my watch but it doesnt work

Try going to the App Store on your watch and navigate to My Apps. Any pending updates will be shown there. I'd try forcing a check also for firmware update.

Also make sure you've the latest version of Samsung Health monitor on your handset.
