Galaxy Watch 4: add bank card to Google Pay not working

Dear all,

I am trying to add a bank card to Google Pay on the Watch.

I installed Google Pay from the Watch (PlayStore). All the softwares are up-to-date.

After opening Google Pay on the Watch, it asks to add the bank card from Google Pay on my Samsung phone.

The card has been already added on the phone, so I just select the card, re-type the CVC code, and it gets to a white blank page, and that's it...

It is working on my phone, so the card (and so the bank issuer) is not at cause. It seems a technical issue.

Did you tried the clear cache recovery process on your phone and on your watch?

I haven't.

It is a bit more technical that I was hoping for. Is it risky?

Today it is working, no special reason.

I have Note 20 + Galaxy watch 4.

Gpay on phone works perfect, with three debit cards:ABN, KNAB and Rabobank 

I also have my KLM boarding passes always sent to Gpay. Very handy because it warns about gate change etc.

But on my watch I cannot get any of the cards/passes.

I tried watch  factory reset. Blocking one of two SIMS, removing Gpay on watch , rebooting,  reinstall, reboot, etc etc.

Nothing works. No card show on my Watch.

I have the feeling that I am the only one😥

I am having a similar problem today -- seems it all worked fine in November '21 with Google Pay.  Now it seems all I can add are credit or debit cards to Google Wallet on my watch.
