Galaxy Watch 3 SP02 sleep tracking

I've recently purchased this watch and I'm very happy with it so far. My only real issue is the watches inability to utilise the SP02 function during sleep tracking. The hardware is clearly there and this would surely just be a software upgrade required from Samsung. So are there any plans from Samsung to activate this function any time soon?

Samsung, I would appreciate and answer to this as well. I wanted to use the Sp02 sensor to help monitor my fathers sleep apnea. Would really appreciate if the Sp02 sensor was opened up to third party apps, and I'm sure many others would too.

At this moment I don't think there is any single wearable device that can 'do everything' so there is a gap in the market here and it would make business sense as well. Literally just getting your software team to flip a switch to do this!
