Could anyone clarify for me before I purchase the watch. I know it will connect to an EE network but I'm with BT, they use the EE network. Does this mean I would be able to connect or would I have to have an account with EE themselves as my provider to be able to connect? Hopefully this makes sense.  Thanks.

before you do anything contact BT customer services just to make sure their plans are compatible with the watch for cellular use.

BT own EE but I've seen it before where some BT Sims don't work with some EE devices. I would still treat them as 2 different providers even though they have links.

even if BT connects you would have to double check what the cost would be and if there will be an additional contract and what the length would be.

I think if you purchase a smart watch that's cellular outright... EE charge I think between £5 to £7 a month for it to work.

if you don't want cellular then bluetooth connectivity is the other option... doesn't cost anything but limited in range.
