Hi I've just been advised by Samsung Live chat support that the Galaxy SmartTag+ has already been discontinued. Not sure if this is just the UK or worldwide? Has anybody else heard this?

Hi @JerryS  I had nor heard that, though seems in the Uk SmartTag+ is unavailable.  Are they discontinued  though or stock issues at present?  https://www.samsung.com/uk/mobile-accessories/galaxy-smarttag-plus-black-ei-t7300bbegeu/

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-Galaxy-Smart-Tag-Oatmeal/dp/B08YK8FQJ8/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords...

Having checked they are available in US and from this German company https://www.sotel.de/en/Handyzubehoer/Originalzubehoer/Zubehoer/Samsung-Galaxy-SmartTag Plus

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

Hi James, Thanks for the reply and links. Samsung told me that they would not be replenishing their stock and it had already been discontinued. They said some existing stock might still be available at their partners - eg John Lewis, Argos or Curry's but have not been able to find any. Does seem strange as it so soon after the release! Thanks for those links will investigate

I've managed to find a smartTag+ at Selfridges:

@JerryS Glad you managed to source one,  search should reveal options.   It is disappointing if the Smart Tag + is discontinued already.

Thanks James, appreciate your help. Yes it is disappointing if it is already discontinued, hopefully their support just got it wrong
