galaxy fit2 no heart rate monitor

I got a new Samsung galaxy s20 FE and claimed my free gift of a fit2 watch. It won't monitor my heart rate at all. I have factory reset three times, tried different positions on my arm, and got someone else to try it.i have attached a screenshot. Has anyone else has this issue?

when the heart rate monitor is activated, is there a green light flashing on the back off the watch? Do you also happen to have a tattoo on your wrist? If so the watch cannot scan through tatoos.

thanks for coming back to me. the green light is not activates at all. I have never seen a green light on the back. my tattoo is a bit further up my arm but I have tried on other people just in case and it doesn't work for them. I tried to attach a video but it wouldn't upload.

I would take it to a Samsung store/service centre and let them take a look at it, it sounds faulty.
