Galaxy Buds2 automatic switch issue

Hey,

I'm using a Galaxy S10 and a Tab S7 Tablet and Galaxy Buds2 as earbuds. Up until one or months ago the automatic switch between the two mobile devices when I start playing music or videos on the other device worked fine.

I can't figure out what changed but now only the automatic switch to the S10 works but not the other way around. No matter what App I'm using the Buds won't connect to the tablet automatically anymore

what i tried already:

  • downloading the latest software updates for all devices and the wearable apps on them
  • resetting the buds to factory settings
  • toggling the seamless audio connectivity feature
  • checking Samsung members and Reddit for possible fixes

but no fix so far.

Has anyone experienced the same and has a fix?

thanks in advance
