Galaxy Buds no longer connecting (Help)

I haven't used my Galaxy Buds 2 for about two months. I fully recharged them today but my Galaxy S20 is no longer finding them via Bluetooth. I have tried connecting to other devices, but again no luck suggesting the problem stems from the buds themselves. The most concerning thing for me is that I am also no longer getting any response from the touch controls on the side of the buds so cannot hard reset this way. Obviously it would appear the buds have no battery but the charging case is showing green light to indicate the battery is fine. Any solutions please let me know!

The app also doesn't recognise the buds. Tried deleting it from the known list and start again but still nothing.

Did anyone figure this out? I am having the exact same problem.  Hold the controls for 3 seconds you get a weird sounding beep but it stops as soon as you do.
