Galaxy Buds Live replacement left earbud not linking with right earbud

Hi 

I have purchased a replacement left earbud for my samsung galaxy buds live. I have followed the instructions here but the instructions did not help to link the new bud with the existing bud.

I found that when I hold down on both earbuds, the charging light just stays red.

Does anyone has any suggestions on how to fix this please?

When showing on bluetooth each earbud is coming up as the following:

Left: Samsung Galaxy Buds Live (365D)

Right: Samsung Galaxy Buds Live (04AB)

I have updated the Galaxy Wear app on my phone, updated the software on each earbud, unpaired and then paired then again, and also reset my bluetooth with no luck.

I am wondering if it isn't working because I purchased a replacement charging case too which was not a Samsung original.

Did you purchase the replacement bud with the replacement charging case, and could we ask where you bought them from?

I purchased the charging case and left earbud on two separate occasions on eBay
