Galaxy buds 2 don't play media after calls

Hey, 

I have a pair of galaxy buds 2 and an S21 phone. I used my buds for 3 months now and they were great so far. 

I recently updated both android and my buds and ever since then every time I'm in a call and use them they stop playing media audio. 

They're paired and everything and if I make another call they work fine so it's just media (notifications and Google assistant also work fine) 

I've tried to unpair them, reset them through settings and switching the audio through the media output to the phone (and then it doesn't work while the buds are connected) and to my buds (still doesn't help). 

I've tried putting them back in the case and taking it out and still no luck. 

I've tried to activate separate sound as well and it's not working.

Any solutions anyone?

The only thing that helped is turning off my phone but unfortunately as soon as I get another call it happens again

Try clearing the cache for the Wear app.. that might do it.. good luck.!..

Tried that but it didn't help either. There was another android update and it's fixed now. I hope it doesn't come back though
