Who ever wrote the stopwatch app missed the boat IMO (There's a pun in there somewhere.). I can think of no event where it's feasible to take your eyes off the competitors long enough to touch an icon on the screen of the watch in order to start/stop the timer.
There are two perfectly located physical switches which make the watch as functional as a real stopwatch. As such, the included Stopwatch app is pretty much unusable. At least for me. If I'm missing something, someone please point me in the right direction.

try this, prevent the screen from totally switching off and keep your finger close to where you should press to stop the stopwatch 😊

Thanks for taking the time to reply. But no cigar. Just not the same as Start/Stop, Lap Time, Split Time, Interval yadda yadda...
Thinking about though, the ideal solution might be one that incorporates physical and virtual buttons. Yes?
