Failure to redeem Samsung rewards points for preorder of galaxy watch 5 pro

Hello, can anybody help me? I am trying to preorder a galaxy watch 5 pro, when I get to the checkout page and try to pay with the Samsung rewards option and I enter in the amount of points I have, the screen says that I need to pay -£200

Am I doing something wrong, am I not able to use this payment option for a preorder with trade in?

Happened to me , only had £7.34 to pay at one stage but wouldn't let me complete purchase 🤣
Basically couldn't use them

I contacted customer support the other day and they said that they would get back to me via email/text however I never gave them my details 🤔 not got my hopes up. Glad it's not just happening to me.

The Samsung online shop is dodgy as.

If you try at different times of the day, you'll get different discounts.

In this case, it clearly got very confused and wanted to pay you for the purchase!

I can't even figure out how to redeem points ...any suggestions would be appreciated+
