I have earbuds which I am selling but the person says they are not connecting to his phone. They said they weren't connected to mine. What are we doing wrong?

If they won't connect to the wearable app they maybe fake buds

they are brand new from a retailer 02. I bought them when I bought my phone. I've had them connected but now we can only get one connected.
