Batteries may have a memory effect caused by short charging. The best thing to do is to use till flat, charge and use till flat. Keep doing this and the battery may improve it's life. With regards to 2 months not working, check the charging plug and lead. There may be a break in the cable internally so movement may make it connect/break the circuit. Check for anything that may impead the lead being plugged in. Try someone else's pad and lead if charging wireless.
