ear buds will not let me play music

I bought some Samsung ear buds off my friend but it won't let me play music through Spotify or YouTube I can hear it when I speak to bixy or Google but nothing else can anyone help please

try resetting them, fully charge them and go into the Samsung wearable app and reset them, should work fine then.

try changing the volume on the side of the phone when playing Spotify
