Cross-country skiing in Samsung Health on phone not showing up on Galaxy Watch? So it is not possible to start ski training from the watch.

Is there any way to fix that?

Its been fixed. It has GPS now! Weee!

Thanks for the info. Just tested and its really working. Only one think that I dont like is that I cannot see distance at once during skiing like in running mode. I dont want to see kalories.thats usually nice to know after activities. I hope they fix this also. But anyway its better know cause had a issue with google fit gps. Just takes so long to find gps with that app.

Strange. But still no skiing activities on my Galaxy Watch Active (version 1). Have doublechecked that there is no newer sw version exists in galaxy wearable app or in watch itself.     Maybe mentioned update is only for newer GalaxyWatchActive models?

Hello, yes this is nice - GPS is added to Cross Country and Inline Skating.

And it did not take much more than 1 year!

But how is it possible to leave only one screen under these applications without Speed and Distance? These must be as default on all Outdoor applications! Do developers ever do any outdoor activities?

So, can I now add cross-country skiing or skating to my Galaxy Watch LTE (46mm) or not?

It can be done on my GF's Galaxy Fit2.

I don't think it's been fixed for the Watch 3?

Seems that this update is for new devices only. Users with old models are still ignored by Samsung. No skiing workout for my Galaxy Watch Active 1&2 devices

Just found out that you can customize that display. I didnt know that. Really cool
