Cross-country skiing in Samsung Health on phone not showing up on Galaxy Watch? So it is not possible to start ski training from the watch.

Is there any way to fix that?

Just started my skiing season and I was also really disappointed that there is no GPS. I hope they will update it asap! I will try to reach customer service about this.

Did you get any answer from customer service regarding the gps tracking on skiing and if that would be available?

I was about to suggest this Watch 4 for a friend but things like these might make him to choose some other watch.

No I didnt but started to use google fit app. There is skiing with gps and also SUP. So Im using that till this samsung health is fixed.

+1 for adding nordic ski function on all galaxy watches. Samsung, please just copy paste Run activity and rename it to NordSki.

Samsung, why you are ignoring such big number of fans?  Ski function is absolutely must for all North countries like Finland, Sweden, Norvege and Russia.

I guess it's because Apple Watch doesn't have this, and Samsung just do whatever Apple is doing

Hey! Please fix the problem with the gps also. When skiing it is not showing distance and elevation etc.. please do not be worse then other sportwatches with such easy fix.

Samsung don`t fix anything and even don`t react to user requests on their official forum. It`s very bad sign and make me lose loyalty to their brand.

Since yesterday my galaxy watch without skiing track activity (no Galaxy Watch have such tracking) is sold out.  Some of my friends from skiing community did same earlier. 

PS. Additionally I have run through other topics on this forum. Seems that Samsung is not very interested in user opinion at all. Bad for Samsung. Seems that their mobile ecosystem is getting worse that China`s brands.

Is this being worked on by the Samsung team? One of the main reasons I bought the active 2 is exactly to track skiing and I'm not able to do it, the watch has all the specs required to track skiing yet somehow its not able to. Through the phone I can track it but not the watch. Please make it available as watches from other brands do provide it and it seems relatively simple to just make it available. I'm quite frustrated about it to be honest. Thanks for your consideration.

It's quite ridiculous and is making me consider changing watches eventhough I'm otherwise very satisfied with my active 2. All the required sensors and similar activities are there... like another poster mentioned its basically a copy paste from coding perspective. It's embarrassing really that we can not track this on the active 2.
