Bixby not setting up on Active 2

I recently bought an Active 2 and trying to set up to use Bixby. However when I try to set up, I select the Language, then it gets to my registered email address and only says An Error Occurred, please try again. Any advice please?

HI @IanBerr. Are you syncing it to a phone too? Who is your email provider?

Hi, thanks for the reply. I haven't got that far yet. Never used Bixby and just setting up. When selected, it goes to select language, then my Samsung email, then says error. No further and immediate. 

 

It is connected to my S10 via BT and my email program is Outlook.

I get the same problem, only it occurs just before the email address request.

Hi Ian,

 

I had the exact same problem,

 

I completely reset my watch and it seemed to work fine afterward

 

I recommend googling how to back up your watch before resetting to save your data

Hi Beety,

 

Thanks for this. I reset and was then able to setup and actually use Bixby. Guess what, i was told that there was an update for Bixby, which i allowed to carry on and its now broken and giving errors on start up. Whenever i reset and revert to the original, its fine. It appears that the new Bixby is broken.
