Apps in background

Hey, does closing apps in the background on your watch really extend battery life, or is it just a myth?

Isn't it that when I press a button to show the recently opened applications, it just shows me a list of the most recent ones?

Does apps that are not manually killed by me draining the battery?

Yep as its an active application, it also frees up ram by closing un used apps it's same principle as leaving you tv on standby.
