Hi,
I have a Samsung Galaxy Watch (46mm LTE). Every night I put the watch onto the charger which is placed on my bedside table. Even If I switch on AoD the watch turns black after a few seconds.
My question now is there any way to keep the display on all night if the watch is charging?
I want to use the watch as small night clock with digital numbers (brightness very low) - how can I get that?
Thanks for any help!

Try downloading a watchface that does it.
I downloaded this.

I gave up waiting for this. Now my bedside clock is my Z Flip in flex mode sat on wireless charging pad.

I want to keep my watchfaces... It should be a default setting... Instead of watching the percentage of my charged watch.. Wtf @Anonymous User? This is basic stuff... Pffff

I purchased that watch face per your recommendation, but it was a dissappointment. Only works while watch is charging, but turns off when battery is full.
Samsung PLEASE - enable AoD on cradle!! I have been waiting for years already!!

although it is often said, I would like to repeat: I miss an AOD while charging

Download this app. Useful for lots of other scenarios, too. Bear in mind the watch will fully active (not on AOD). So I presume it will take longer to charge (I haven't timed this as yet). But man it looks pretty (with your favourite watchface of choice).

Also, just a thought.... I don't know if this method could result in screen burn. I'm not taking the risk, so I'm going to use it sparingly such as when I'm reading a book for a few hours, charging my watch and keeping an eye on the time. I'm not going to keep it like this all night unless someone can tell me it's safe to do so.
It's a nice interim measure while we are waiting for the AOD charger feature.

3 years later...
I still can't see this feature. its the little things Samsung, little things.
Have been a loyal customer for over 8 years now. Owned a wide range of products (TV, fridge, Monitors, and of course mobiles). There is always something missing and never have once Samsung fulfilled a request or a complaint.
Will be completely moving from the Samsung ecosystem by 2021.
