Always on not working

I recently went through an update and ever since the "Always on" option is no longer working.  I have confirmed the Always on setting is set to ON and the Battery Optimization is OFF.  Every setting has been verified but yet the Always on feature is not working.  Please resolve or I'd like an exchange.

hello

please ensure goodnight mode is OFF

please ensure theatre mode  is OFF

please ensure water lock mode is OFF

try changing the watch face/s

then, turn off and on the watch and retry

I have verified all but the water lock mode, I cannot find that in any of my menus.  I checked the Display and others and but I was able to confirm the others are off.  I powered off, reset the watch and still no luck.
