Hi.

Yesterday i updated my galaxy buds to the lastest software R170XXU0ATD2.

This morning i reseted them and repaired them with my pc and galaxy s10 plus and i have noticed few things.

The first is that the thouchpads are not working anymore, the left one worked briefly on my pc so i connected it to my phone since the right one was not working and now both are not working... if you touch them nothing happens and no touch sound is played.

The second is that they always had a tiny tiny buzzing sound in the background when listening to podcasts at min volume audible, now it has quite increased perhaps maybe due to the new sound algorithm...

Anyone experiencing this?

Thanks in advance

installing now, i checked it and it weights 0.1mbs more than the previous one. I think that they are pushing  out the full ATD2 update with 0.1 mb of code lines to fix the bugs, hope it works......

If you all confirm that the issues has been fixed i will proceed to assign solutions to everyone

Updated my Buds to the new version and, touch wood, they're back to normal and working well.

Responding to touch again, letting me listen on single ear/bud. I've never had a buzzing noise or issue like that before with them. I never use the Ambient sound feature, not sure if that's something you have enabled and use ?

it is difficoult to explain.

Ambient sound is off and it is not a buzzing, i would not know how to call it if not buzzing. It is hearable at the minimum hearable volume when listening for example to an only spoken video.

Can you test this by watching a piece of this video, play a part in the middle and set the audio to the minimum hearable (le last notch possible) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5RjS3AhDyJg

Do you hear the voice crystal clear or do you hear a kind of background noise?

Thank you

Hi,

Just tried that youtube with both buds in use. Still can't hear anything odd with volume really low. Not sure if it's a hardware fault or something like that, sorry.

yeah looks like mine have this strange sound, i mean mine is not crystal clear like it was for example with akg included with the s10.. i should have returned them in october when i bought them... may try to have a warranty change if i have time and quarantine is not necessary again in italy.

Thank you for your time.

Bye
