Active watch green flashing light

Hi everyone, my watch is keeping me awake as the green light underneath is on constantly and flashing and boy is it bright,  it lights up the whole room when I take it off to try and deal with it. It's not always done this and it's driving me mad. Does anyone know why it is doing this and how to stop it please?

Just switch the heart rate sensor off or schedule it in settings.

Tried that but still flashes all the time and make my wrist red bit thanks for the suggestion

So do I have to just put up with it if I want to use the heart sensor. The heart sensor is the main reason I wanted it, typical lol

This is so annoying as I have a heart condition and wanted to use it for when I'm sleeping as that's when I have some problems. Looks like I'm back to the drawing board 🙄 thanks for taking time to answer 👍🏻
