Samsung just informed me that my activewatch 2 is not in fact water resistant. Their site claims it is ATM 5 it also claims it has an ip6 rating which is good for 164 ft deep. I never got my watch more than two or three feet deep. I never even wore it in the shower.
So funny it has swim kayaking and other programs on it even has a water feature but they won't warrant it if it gets wet. They also told me that they wouldn't even warranty it under normal shower usage if it got damaged.
I definitely won't be buying any Samsung Big ticket items like fridges washers dryers Galaxy phones if they're not going to warranty a cheap product you'd be crazy to think they're going to take care of you on a big ticket item.
Furthermore they wanted $219 to repair $169 brand new watch. I don't even know what else to say. Disappointed. What a joke.
