Active 2 Watch - Won’t charge properly

Recently bought my dad the Samsung galaxy watch active 2. No problems during the first week of having it but now it won’t charge properly. When charging, it’ll continuously buzz, saying that the battery is low. A face will sometimes appear saying “charge me” and it’s a never ending cycle. Keeps buzzing, asking to be charged and that the battery is low when it’s already charging. It’ll also stop charging when those messages appear and will continue charging when the disappear.


Any solutions to this problem? It’s getting very frustrating.

Hi @paulinesh24. Are you charging directly using a charger or is the USB cable connect to a computer?

Charging using a charger. It was charging fine a few days ago as well up until today.

I'm experiencing the exact same issue, I have bought the watch more than a year ago, and recently got the new software actualization and all of a sudden the battery drained. Now it won't charge, not in the charger or with my S20+ with the wireless power share, I can't reboot it or factory restart, what should I do?

If nothing os this worked @SCeloria , I would suggest a Factory Reset, before doing this, please ensure that your data is backed up. You can find how to do all these here: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00084702/

 

If the issue persists after that, please contact Support: https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/contact/ to get a repair arranged for you.
