Active 2 IR burn

Hi,

I have now two occasions where I got some IR burns on my wrist for continuously wearing the Active 2 watch. I have had the watch for little more than 2 years and in the past 3 months I have experienced two IR burns, both having elongated recovery (about a week or so until the burned skin is gone). Are there any solution to this other than getting a new watch?
