As it says in the title - trying to work out whether any apps support 5.1/7.1 feeding into the 360 Audio feature on the new Buds2 Pro. I'd imagine like with AirPods Pro/Spatial Audio, only select apps would be able to output multichannel for the feature to work. So far tried
- YouTube (with videos that'd output 5.1 to TV): stereo only
- Netflix: also stereo only it seems but haven't tried enough titles
- Local video player (with an .MP4 demo trailer with a 5.1 AC3 track): worked
- Apple Music with Dolby Atmos enabled - also worked!
This page also seems to suggest it should at minimum be supported by Netflix, Disney+ and HBO Max...
