My comments may be a bit harsh, but like you, I felt my standards was high and didn't want to settle for a watch that only performs average as a sports watch. To be honest, with my runs I haven't really had issues (Keep in mind I never run more than 1,5 hours at a time, it's my secondary sport). My main issues are when MTB'ing descending fast the HR seems to flatline (Apparently this is a problem with all optical HR monitors, for the best HR readings you have to wear a chest strap). And the GPS wrong route tracking also only happens when descending fast on twisty bits where it pulls a straight line instead of follow the exact route. And stops recording on long rides. I think I'm going to try Gear Tracker on the watch. You can connect an external HR monitor like a chest strap to the app, and from all I've read there is no GPS issues with it.. Plus it uploads your activities automatically to Strava. I was also considering the Fenix 5 plus, but opted for the Galaxy watch because of all the other capibilites and functions I use on a daily basis. And it looks like a genuine watch with a premium feel to it instead of this monster thing that sits on your wrist like the Fenix. The customizability of the watch faces is also great. And for halve the price I was able to get a Galaxy watch for my wife as well.

I bought a Galaxy A5 two weeks ago. I often travel and use an international sim card from a compamy called Keepgo. This card works in most countries, I've used it many times. I've never had any issues with my previous phones but it won't work in my Samsung phone. The phone is unlocked to other providers in Canada where I'm from. It detects the international card (issued from Spain) but it will not work to go online. I've checked my settings and they are all correct (data is on, apn is correct, etc.). Do you think my phone is region locked? I chatted online with Samsung who said there is no such thing and that my phone is unlocked. I'm very skeptical but not sure what I can do. I tried making phones calls with my Canadian card for 5 to 15 minutes to unlock it like some people said, but when i try the international card after, it still won't connect to the internet. I'm really confused and frustrated. Why is Samsung going that? It's my first time buying a samsung and possibly the last. Any help would be appreciated.
