Ok, you know how that when you use a smile on a msg, the next time you compose a message it gives you a list of the most recently used ones from past messages. Well 'some how' I now have a black box as one of these smilies (and it's doing my box in - no pun intended!) It is literally just a black box that can be used as a smilies!
Does anyone know how to delete it or even the entire list of recently used smilies if necessary?

OK, I updated last week and everything was fine until this morning. My BT headphones connect to the S9+, but the S9+ does not send any audio. It did last night. 🤔 Here are my investigation results so far... 1. Nothing is on mute. 2. Music plays out of the phone and then goes silent when it connects to the headphones (as you would expect) 3. Calls and audio are set to ON. 4. Volume is at maximum. 5. My headphones can pause/play the tracks etc. (I know this because the counter stops and starts) 6. In case it was the headphones, I connected them with my laptop, and they work fine. 7. I did the 'IT' thing and rebooted the phone, but that had no effect. As I say, I have done nothing since last night other than put everything on charge. Ay ideas? 🤔

Yup.... 1. Dodgy bluetooth again 2. Appz staying residual in memoy -reboot required 3. Ringtones seem to have a concert hall echo (delay) 4. Messes with themes, putting white text on white backgrounds

As the title says... I have no problem indoors or even traveling on the bus, however the secomd I am outside I continually loose signal. And yup, you guessed it, this is only since the Pie update. I also use a free phone app called 'My Phone Explorer' which works eventually, however the client resisdes in the memory until I reboot the phone... even when I close recent apps, it is still there runnning in the background. It has never done this before... i.e. before the Pie update. And NO! I shouldn't have to do a factory reset, or reflash the firmware.

The phone should of given you a popup telling you when you tried to activate it in conjunction with a theme. Did on mine.

Updated on O2 last night, nothing to get excited about. I usually tell folk never to trust the weather forcast. However Bixby has just gone the extra length and predicted that there will be rain and snow (wait for it!) in 7hrs and 7mins! That is pretty precise! I will be keeping an eye on the clock!

Update on O2. Not noticing much change other than I had to change my theme (which I loved) as calendar and contacts were illegible (white text on a white background), which didn’t impress me one bit. Did someone say there was a dark mode? I can’t find it. /edit - found it, but it doesn't work with themes. Personally I wish I haden't 'updated' (I use that word loosely)

Well last night we had a power cut and althogh it is a pain in the ass getting my S9+ back fighting fit again. My Gear S3 is a different kettle of fish. The problem is, it just keeps charging on the splash screen you get when you first turn it on. To add insult to injury, you just cant turn it off..... When you try it momentarily, says 'Rebooting....' then it goes back back to charging. Now I have tried bleeding the power out of it (which works), but the second you put it on charge again, it is back to the old splash screen again.... I’m at a loss, are there any button combinations I can do to break the cycle, I know there are only 2!

I try and open an e-mail and all I get back is 'e-mail has stopped, close app' - now it is doing it with other appzas well.... e.g. Just Eat. Nothing has changed, it just started last night. (18/10/2018) - all my desktop and web e-mails work fine.

Yup, that is exctly what has happened. As you will have noticed, things like S-health and Samsung Pay will be having none of it now. I did this to my S7Edge when trying to 'root' it years ago.

Ok here is the scenario (it has happened a couple of time) Using the supplied wireless charger and cable, I turn off the S3 and put it on charge and leave it all night. When I come back it is sitting in the mid 70% and deosn't seem to charge any more. I take it off and replace it, only for it to start flashing an exclamation mark in a yellow trianggle (not a good sign if I had left it a long time!). Lastely I take it off and replace it a third time for it to fully charge to 100% (so it is capable). What gives? Why did it work the 3rd time? Wht's with the warning sign, it didn't seem overly hot. (hopefully not Note7 battery syndrom!)

Never used a screen protector, but you could try setting.... Settings, advanced features, touch sensitivity to ON. See if that helps. :smileyhappy:

I had this problem with my TaoTronic earbuds. They are BT4.1, however I found that I was not puting the headphones into 'pairing mode' properly. Try holding the power button down longer (7-8 seconds) and then see if the S9+ recognises them, it did with me (I too was just getting the MAC address) - Worth a try! :smileyvery-happy:

I just checked my phone and noticed that no applications can access the internet (firefox, bixby, e-mail etc.) , with mobile data and WiFi on. On restarting the phone I am now connected again. This is all welll and good, however I can't just keep periodically checking the phone to see if it is still conected along side the random issue of no audio SMS notifications. One of the e-mails that came through after restarting was sent over 8 hours ago (during buisness hours). ***** annoying :smileymad:. Is this phone trying to compete with when I had a blackberry Storm1/2 (the most bug laden nightmare ever!) - don't even get me going on the jumpy bluetooth audio!

Does anyone get this? I was listening on to tunes on my BT headphones and I could swear the volume dropped, so I increse the level on the headphones, only to have it drop again minutes later. Eventually I had both the headphones and the phone on maximum and I still could of done with it being louder. Now I know I am no spring chicken, but I cant be going deaf already (especially at such a speed! :smileyfrustrated:)

Yup, I would have to agree with Nially; I upgraded from an S7 Edge to the S9+ and if it wasn't for the fact that I had tripped KNOX rendering shealth useless and dropped it on the bus when I fell asleep :smileyembarrassed: (cracking the screen) I would say it isn't worth the upgrade. Looking at the forums (UK and US) it is apparent that the firmaware is still pretty buggy (eg. only one speaker working on notifications and VR) and there seems to be a number of basic functions from previous android builds that are now missing. I wish that I didn't upgrade and now look to be waiting 3 odd years before some form of significant upgrade comes out on the market. If folk thinik I am being harsh, I should point out that the camera is not a major selling point for me. On a plus side, the battery hasn't blown up yet!! :smileylol:
