Just a bit off topic.. i use a tempered glass on my s9 plus and noticed reduced sensitivity around edges .thus i  use "touch sensitivity" after which the touch works perfectly fine..But whenever I'm in the game performance mode, the touch sensitivity is again reduced despite turning "touch sensitivity" on... what's more surprising is that i observe this reduced sensitivity in almost all the apps such as watsapp, messenger etc, but except for "notes"... In short, in the game mode, my phone is behavin as if the "touch sensitivity" is turned off...does anyone else has this same issue? Thanks ... View more

The bottom lens is the telephoto lens.  If you keep your finger on it and press 2x, the cam detects low lights and simultaneously switches to the primary lens at 2x digital zoom. To test this..first press 2x..then cover the the bottom lens with your finger...you will see your finger on the screen for a split second before the camera switches to the primary lens. Make sure you do it in day light..because the camera tends to avoid prefers using primary lens in low light. ... View more

Guys i need a feedback! My phone is working perfectly with the ARD4, the BRE5 update is available and i have turned the automatic update off! Some users are reporting that the issue resurfaced after the update for them. My question is: 1. Is anyone on bre5 and perfect working condition? 2. for how many of you has th problem resurfaced after the updating from ard4 to bre5? I(i need feedback from from people whose issue was resolved with the ARD4.  3. If i update to BRE5, and if th issue resurfaces,  is there anyways to roll back to ard4? The ard1 has issues.. i had the same issue until i got the ard4 update. Contact samsung on phone, ask them if any of their service centre can manually install ard4 for you. Go in only if they confirm that they can update ard4...reinstalling ard1, clearing mem, formatting ..nothing will help..ARD4 is the only solution ... View more

The ard4 was relased after arcc update which resolved the call dropping issue for most of us worldwide including mine. But sadly ard4 didn't solve the issue for o2 users and a few others. The BRE is a new version which some have claimed to have received recently and if I'm not wrong, then the BRE hasn't solved the issue for you guys.. ... View more

I've been on this forum from the first week.. trust me I've spent more time on this forum than using this phone for anything else. This was my first android and the experience was just totally runied. But anyways the ard4 update fixed things for me. Summing up things for you guys:   Not everyone had this issue as for many their phones was compatible to some networks such as Vodafone india, vdafone Australia, telstra australia. (But there were a few from users complaining depending on different regions) Understand that no sort of diagnostics is going to solve the issue for people on arcc update. 99 percent people stopped coming back to this forum because their issue has been resolved including mine. People with ard4 but still having the issue are on O2. This means that s9 still has a compatibility issue with o2 and some other networks around the globe, Which i beleive is still a samsungs responsibility to fix. The only thing resolving this issue should be another software update. What you should do: get an assurance that the issue will be resolved or just ask for a refund as the product does not serve it's intended use. Now that you are merely a few left behind,  Contact and Ask samsung to respond in written or in a form of reference number that they achnowledge that they are working on the issue...if they disagree or you can't wait for another update, as for a refund. It's not a hardware fault... but the issue is how long they take to fix it for you.       ... View more

So if kenzuk is right, any one with th latest update ARD4 and still having the issue can reset the network settings by swapping a different operator sim once and put the original back. Worth a try...as the ARD4 has solved the issue for 99% of us, this might solve the issue. If this doesn't solve the issue, I'd suggest these users replicate the issue and try to return the phone. ... Yousuf can you try using another operator sim on your phone? I know this is not a solution but this might give you an alternative to live with...just swap a sim with a friend or something...also sme users in initial days were able to eradicate the issue by using the sim in tray 2 so if you have the dual sim version you can give it a shot . Yusuf did you try a reset after getting thi update? I see you are on the right update. Also has you wife updated phone? For us we did not need to reset or anything. If both you and your wife's phone are updated and if both phones still have the issue then I'd suggest you try contacting samsung and ask for a refund. Not a single drop since i updated...I've made hundreds of minutes of call overseas, local, on the bus, in a car, in  train. No drops for me..so the update dos look promising. I'm still not sure why one user is atill getting the issue. Can someone on ARD4 share a screen shot of their baseband, clean the cache and try to mak calls, and if possible, a factory reset just to see if the issue troubleshoots.
