i wish i can have a chance to test ARD4, but unfortunately we are offered BRE5 update in stead of ARD4.    So far i had tried to reset via resetting in settings and another type of reset is in recovery mode (press up, bixby, power button at the same time) After triee both method of reset, i still have problem of call. I'm not sure now it is due to bluetooth issue or call issue.    So far i mostly use bluetooth to connect to my car audio to make the long call. the latest firmware now is BRE5 which include dual VoLTE sim at the same time. Malaysia did not receive any ARD4 update but straightaway getting the BRE5. After the update since last Thursday, i perform the factory default reset. I only experience 1 call drop so far and the call is connecting to car audio bluetooth. In the middle of the call, the voice of the receiver suddenly become high pitch sound for few seconds and then the call has dropped. Will test for another few days see how it is going. No call drop so far when the phone is not connected to any bluetooth device. ... View more

another new update for Uk and Ireland. this update with PDA  G965FXXU1BRE5   Hi Ants, what is so complex about the update to be roll out to the rest of the world ? iphone roll out firmware and it is available at the same time for the whole world. What is so complicated here for samsung.   The ARD4 roll out already halted since 9th May.  I cannot stand of the call drop for most of the call. Unfortunately here don't have any policy like UK/US that we can change the phone within 30 days. And Samsung in Malaysia not really can do much rather than reflash the firmware to me.   Samsung please do something. this is the issue with Samsung. There are so many firmwares just for the same model (S9+). We have to wait for Samsung to release batch by batch. Unlike iOS release firmware update is for the particular model is at the same time. Even the firmware file is the same across the countries for the same model. ... View more

Hi everyone,    Found out there is another symptom on my phone. After i dial the number in my phone, my 4G+ or H+ will drop, means that during the call, i can't browse internet or whatsapp. Data signal will back once i end the call.   Can you guys check that? ... View more

I'm Malaysia user here. Samsung Malaysia dont have the community forum. I had contacted Samsung customer care and basically they have no idea what is the caused. They always told me i'm the first customer who reported this.  For me, the call drop is not always and it happened frequently only when i connected to my car player via bluetooth. I'm using iphone about 8 years. The serious problem I had is during iphone 3GS where the phone get restart during the call. Send back phone to service center and get a replacement. No problem after then. But Samsung case is different, even the replacement the problem still there. Got one guy got his 7th replacement but the problem still there. I've been advised by Live chat assistant to send my phone to service center, but I reluctant to do so because it I got the replacement, the problem still be the same. ... View more

Now I would say call drop is not only happened to Exynos version but it also happened on Snapdragon. Hopefully there will be a software update from Samsung as he promised within 10 days. Hi everyone,   I'm from Malaysia and encounter the same issue like your guys. So far, I encounter call drop when it is pair with my car stereo via bluetooth connection. I would said with this method, call drop is for sure, it happened after 10 to minutes of the call. Suddenly cannot hear from another party, then the call is being disconnected. For your information, i never had such issue when i'm using my iphone 7 plus when connected to my car stereo via bluetooth.   I had done another testing which i'm using iphone to call my S9+, this is without any bluetooth connection, the call last for 30 minutes without any drop. This is just a one time testing.   Another test is put the phone in safe mode, but no luck, the problem still persist.   Really hope this is the software issue and it can be fixed with software update in coming days.     ...
