I think you need to realise that not everyone is seeing the same results as you, I know it must feel cool being able to boast an "amazing battery life" but the reality is, that 90% of people with S9 (and what's worse... Those that paid more for it) are seeing shocking results. You can't defend something you haven't been around to experience. We get it, yours is better, probably has a different battery inside after Samsung got scathing reviews off tech analysts regarding battery. Glad to be rid of the problem now.

I'm willing to bet any money there's a different battery than launch model in that phone. No way on god's earth the exynos launch model can get those figures. Let me guess, it's a recent purchase, say recent enough to be a second revision.. Sorry to say, but your device is not typical of S9 exynos users on launch model, the S9 battery was/is GARBAGE on devices back at launch, and Samsung should be ashamed that they put them inside the flagship.

Yeah... On Snapdragon Type in YouTube S9 exynos battery for a clearer picture. 4-5 hours is a rare, rare occasion, my experience was 2-3 and that was on the plus! Go figure how the note9 only has 500mah more but more than doubled the screen time, in some cases tripling it

The Pie beta is only available on devices running on Snapdragon SOCs at the moment. Please NEVER install or flash any beta or firmware of any kind built for the Snapdragon, on Exynos based phones.... EVER.

The scratch wont be visible with the dome on as the glue fills hairline scratches before curing, gives the look of an immaculate screen. Of course once removed, the scratch will still be there..

Seems like a massive oversight surely. Myself I use LDAC and completely misread the "HD" at the end of what you wrote, apologies. Seems odd that aptX HD isn't available on an AKG tuned Atmos optimised device, bonkers in fact.

Even the lint in your pocket corners could have some element with a hard enough compound to cause a scratch. I assure you, iPhone, Samsung, Huawei, Nokia.. any of them, all have the same hardness rating and will scratch. My own personal advice, get a screen protector, even better, get a whitestone dome, the glue in that brand fills scratches on application.

Yeah but. Heres the thing.. How can the note 9, using the same SOC get 7hrs screen on time with only 500mah more? I mean seriously different battery life, with S9+ I was lucky for 3hr screen time, with note9 7hr is the norm.

Basically, the person before you rooted it. 0x1 is rooted or previously rooted 1x1 is rooted with unofficial firmware. (Full Knox trip) Now, there is much talk online about the warranty of these tripped counters and it seems that some people previously have got warranty service on 0x1 but warranty is lost with 1x1 But however there is no way for Samsung to reset the trip, it is a electronic fuse that has been triggered and will never be in the 0 position again.

Just an update on this. With the new card I've had no messages at all and the old card has been working fine again in another device after passing a full H2TestW scan. The only thing I can assume is that the note 9 CORRECTLY reported corruptions in the card that occurred whilst it was inside S9+. Whilst its annoyed me that I've lost a few videos, I'm more thankful that the image backups were all perfect and managed to recover all my images.

They were super slow Mo videos. Not just slow motion. Again, it is not the camera that adds the music, it is the video editor via gallery view that adds it.
