Every main network in the UK has it. 02, Vodafone, Three, EE, Sky. There's no rhyme or reason when it happens to me.     Here are screenshots from TODAY, Samsung denying the issue on the Samsung Members app and lying/ deceiving, playing the network blame game. How patronising and rude, to give that response. I was so frustrated I logged a complaint on the telephone with their customer care team who then acknowledged the issue over the telephone and apologised. Hi Guys,   I've had an idea...   If it's not hardware because both Vietnam and Korean made phones are getting it. And it's almost certainly software, but isolated to certain individuals, my current working theory is some kind of app we all have is corrupting things...?   So... for the whole day today I'm going to make all my calls in Safe Mode (turn phone on holding the volume down button).   Safe Mode doesn't let most apps run so it's a place to start. If this doesn't work then Samsung have a bigger problem on their hands than they're making out.    Has anyone tried this already? Probably someone has but I'm gonna try it myself.    I'll let you know the results.   ... View more

This is starting to get unbearable. I'm on my second handset and it's still happening. With both the loud speaker and normal mic.  There was a software update last night and it's even worse today. I'm with Three network in the UK and they've told me they're getting many calls about this but have heard nothing from Samsung as of yet.  How wide spread is this and why aren't Samsung acknowledging it? I'm so close to calling it a day with them for good. Mainly because the lack of communication from them and their store are clueless to it, I understand there are teething problems with flag ship phones but there is no excuse for the lack of communication and borderline denile.   ... From what I recall being asked to repeat myself to friends and customers on my S9+ Handset it's mainly on speaker. That said I am in branch now and have had a diagnosis ran on the phone and the microphones are faulty. I've been offered a new handset as I'm inside 28days since I purchased the phone in store directly from Samsung. Luckily I brought the box with me otherwise no exchange... really inconvenient now having to sort out my apps and back up everything... for the second time in 2 weeks. Happening with me too. I went and got a new sim from 3 last week thinking mine was faulty or damaged. But it's still happening now. It's annoying repeating the same sentences, again and again. #firstworldproblems I know, but I didn't pay £860 for my phone to have such a basic issue.
