I had the Gear fit 2 Pro before I got the Galaxy Watch and when it came to WhatsApp notifications, pictures always came with a little icon however once or twice (in months of use) the picture was actually shown on the watch! Since getting the Galaxy I have had no such luck and never seen a picture on the watch. I believe that there is a certain scenario which it works under however I have no clue what it is. I know that there is another post from a few months ago on this topic however I want to revive this as there has been no update fixing this in months of Samsung knowing about it. Surely it isn’t that difficult to let you view a picture on the Galaxy Watch’s beautiful screen! I had the ticwatch Pro before also and that never failed to display the images on the watch and I believe that the Apple Watch is supposed to be the same.
Please Samsung add a fix to this as soon as possible or at least explain why it is not possible to do this. Thanks

Hey Miche30584, That's a pity to lose all of your WhatsApp stuff. Are you sure you can't restore your messages as I have changed phones before and it has transferred my messages for me. Don't want to get your hopes up, but I see no reason why the messages would be backed up... My are always backing up. All the best, Justin

If WhatsApp is the problem I would report it. Here’s a link to where you can contact them for support: https://www.whatsapp.com/contact/?subject=messenger. I would have submitted the bug for you but I thought you might want to do it yourself. I think that that they should be quite quick to fix it but I wouldn’t count on it. Although, In the past when I chatted to Facebook support (WhatsApp is owned by Facebook), they were very quick to respond. Hopefully this will help with your problem😐

I’d say that Samsung will work on fixing the bug now that you have posted it here in the forums. They check this regularly so you can be sure it will be fixed soon. In the meantime, I would recommend resetting, reinstalling etc. to try and fix it yourself! Hope you fix it.

Hey, interesting situation. If you wanted to be totally safe, I would probably just fix it through the insurance but my from my past experience with Samsung, I would say that they will be fair when charging you. I would definitively not expect them to charge you more than the 75£. From the information you provided, it seems that the only number mentioned is 75£ and not 150£. I personally would be happy to send it to Samsung damaged and I wouldn't worry about having to pay more. I would feel safe knowing that it is said in the t and c's. Ultimately it's your decision but I would say to go for the option which is most convenient for you and I'd say in this case it would be to send it straight to Samsung! Good luck with your decision 😁

Have you tried resetting it? You could back up your stuff and try to reset it. Otherwise, if you want a quick, temporary solution, you could just download a creek recording app from the play store. It is likely that another app would work. If you try that and it doesn’t work I would start to think that something might be blocking your s7 recorder which means you would have to bring it back the store or send it away to get it fixed. I can’t think of any other solution and I hope this works for you. Please let me know how you get on😀

Hi. That sounds like an annoying problem to have so I’ll give you my best idea to what the problem could be. While this has not happened to me personally, I have heard of something like this happening before. My best idea would be to try the device in safe mode. This mode means that third-party apps will be disabled. If the problem lies with some app you have installed, then this will make it evident. This way you will be able to identify the app and sort the problem. Here’s how to use safe mode... To turn it on Turn the device off. Press and hold the Power key past the model name screen. When "SAMSUNG" appears on the screen, release the Power key. Immediately after releasing the Power key, press and hold the Volume down key. Continue to hold the Volume down key until the device finishes restarting. Safe mode will display in the bottom left corner of the screen. Release the Volume down key when you see Safe Mode. Uninstall apps that are causing a problem. To turn it off Press and hold the Power key. Tap Restart. I hope that these instructions help you solve the problem. If they don’t, I would highly recommend taking the phone to a Samsung store or send it away to get it fixed. I completely understand why you would want to resolve it yourself as you wouldn’t want to wait a long time for it to be fixed. I understand that you don’t want to reset your phone but if you are desperate, you could just back it up, reset it and then restore everything. There is no reason to lose any of your information. Wow! Can't wait for CES 2018. Hopefully Samsung has a great lineup of new products to showcase to us like they always do. Honestly, I'm most excited to see if they decide to release the Samsung gear S4 as I have been waiting eagerly to get it. In fact, I have put off buying a different fitness tracker to see what the gear S4 will be like. While it's not guaranteed to be released at all it seems pretty likely. The question is if it'll be released at CES 2018. I have heard rumours of a strap with extra battery and a camera. I also can't what to see what the S9 will be like. It is all very exciting but all I know is that no matter what, Samsung won't disappoint us.
