That was followed by “editing” of negative posts about this in other threads, followed by simply deleting posts that were critical of Samsung. And when called out for such censorship, they simply banned me (and, I suspect, others who have dared point out what appears to be misfeasance by Samsung) from the US Community site with no notice or explanation. I’ll let you draw your own conclusions from this. For me, I’d been a loyal Samsung customer for over thirty years. Not any more — this company has truly lost its way. Hi, and I hate censoring when it is supposed to be an open forum. Thing is the only way a company can know about issues is if their customers can voice them. I have to say on the UK forums the moderators are brilliant. They never censor any critical posts of Samsung that I know of, but they moderate in a fair way, and allow open and free discussion. Before you ask no i don't work for Samsung as I am sure the moderators will agree. I was once told that no complaint is a bad complaint but a learning opportunity. Paul

I sent all Samsung tvs back because they all failed to do scheduled recording. They may have dual tuners but did not work. Now have the c8 but it has only one tuners which for such an expensive telly is odd.

If ur does not work correctly out of the box or stops working correctly then it is normally a fault. Always report to your retailer and often a new main board fixes everything.

I'm actually much happier since I gave up solving this issue and worked around it. It would be great if Samsung could solve the issue as I would have to turn less things on, but somewhat given up that they care or are even working the issue. Best of luck, John It's not solved it's a work around. The TV should work as advertised not for you to buy additional kit to make it work. This seems a very rare issue so sounds like a fault with TV and if that is the case I do not think there will be any fix from Samsung apart from repair. Have you reported this to your retailer, and requested a fix?

Went for the LG C8 and now I can see why it got best telly of 2018, and even better it sends through Dolby Atmos to my AV Receiver from Netflix. I had a q9f which was dull with Netflix HDR, but C8 is not. I funny as Netflix uses Dolby Vision and when it kicks the light goes up to 50 instead of 100 with HDR 10 but it still looks just as bright. Very impressed.
