With the integration with OneDrive now in operation, it would be good to have Gallery automatically upload the pictures in a better folder structure within DCIM folder. For instance, "2020/2020-11". Having large numbers of pictures all in one folder means much slower loads over thousands of pictures so splitting them out would be ideal!

My s7 edge broke after falling off a stool onto carpet, around 1 foot drop, and luckily or not, the leather protector case opened on it's way down, and the phone landed on the corner of the screen which immediately broke the entire phone (previous iphone 4s was shattered but worked perfectly for 5 years before apple purposefully stopped updates making the phone virtually useless)
I replaced the front glass on the samsung a week ago, digitiser and back screen mainly due to the edge clock and alarm feature, now it isn't available, I feel I wasted 250 spondoolies, wish I never bothered and just bought another phone, Samsung will not be a choice in the future due to the removal of the 'edge' feature, why else would you buy an 'Edge', the clue is in the name, edge, feature, unique, useful, cool even. Now, if it breaks again which it surely will, I will use it for shotgun practice,
Bye Samsung, it was short, nice, but now, a bit pointless. Remove the only unique feature, surely for cost saving exercises, too bright is nonsense. I am a dev of many areas, phones, computers, laptops whatever, I will never buy another samsung product again, same with apple, hi hi to a chinese p40 pro or p20 pro
The whole point in android was the flexibility, a test forum of product testers, what, 5, clearly, the feature is a software switch. if available on later models, it is as others suggest, a force you to move to a new mobile yearly or bi-yearly, hello ford motors, the men who make us spend, bye bye samsung, it was good while it lasted, if this phone breaks again, I will happily shoot it with my shotgun.
No longer interested in Samsung products, ever. Same goes for all my friends and the 100's of people asking me which phone to get monthly, answer, no, not Samsung.
S7 Edge, hugely disappointed I wasted the money, and my time, to fix
Woe is me!!! Pity, it was such a beautiful phone, for a time...

Actually, you SHOULD upgrade your pc, they have a lot less garbage going on with windows 10 after 4 years of tweaking. Just disable windows defender and then look through things as you go. Considering how quickly they cut support to windows 7, the next on the list is 8/8.1. The best solution to the disaster zone was a new ui launcher, and looking up the specific problems I had till a solution was found (some there were none). Since you're a lot later to the update, you won't have anywhere near as many bugs or issues to deal with. It will still be weird, but there are ways to deal with it. Comparing current to older on phone, I would very much prefer to go back, but you get used to it whether you like it or not. As for PC, it's a mixed bag where it's dangerous to, and dangerous not to, upgrade. But it's likely a lot less safe to not. For me I find a happy balance of waiting a week after updates for the immediate rush of bugs unless it's an immediate level threat in which case I look around and go "huh, this might suck worse than a bug..." SO, advising, upgrade pc, maybe check out some of the free launchers on google play and see if one floats your boat, cause you can still use those after upgrading*. Some permanent changes -you cannot have a theme with night mode active -music is no longer blue but a stupid blinding white outside of night mode (black using night mode makes it black/grey, but this doesn't happen with a theme) -the app icons look like they were designed for a child's tablet. -bixby is no longer able to be 100% disabled -they screwed up the camera and color settings (still not fixed, only natural focus has the correct lighting and it's always zoomed in 2-3x with absolutely no zooming options) tl;dr upgrade pc, look at your options with phone.

I agree 100%!! Bring back Night Clock please! I loved this feature of the S7 edge. The AOD Edge clock is not on the edge. Claiming they got rid of it because people said it was too bright? Pure bs. If you didn't like it you could turn it off. Bring back a feature that I bought the phone for. Add a dimming/brightness option. Simple. At the very least make the AOD display to the actual edge so that it looks the same. Another failure of the AOD is you don't get notifications or the alarm time. Both features that I also loved about the night clock. If Samsung is getting rid of this just to get me to buy a new S10 they are sorely mistaken.
