I have both 2.4 and 5ghz on my router the phone connects to either as long as you imput the password i find the 5ghz drops connection a lot

If its an update your after i wouldnt hold your breath i have the note 8 and there have been 3 or 4 security updates im still on the august 2017 security update and i believe most have december and january updates when it comes to updates samsung are at the bottom of the list so you probably find your device will be out of date by the time they get ariund to updating software

Well maybe give samsung a kick up the preverbial and they better start taking note from apple on updates this is unacceptable for samsung uk to not be able to update latest security updates to all devices at once its not rocket sience its a security update which should be on all device regardless of devices and networks

I had the beta on an s8 plus model not a lot of difference to start but I believe another upgrade as just been released. Just can't understand why no beta for note 8 as this is the latest model and surely they going to release Oreo for it.

Sadly just got my note 8 having had the Samsung 8 plus and found no Oreo beta available for it! Why? Its not as if the note didn't use most of the software the 8 plus uses come on Samsung sadly your lacking Apple's resources

People who apply and successful usually have the beta within minutes of applying. After applying for the beta keep checking the update in settings the software update manually

Oreo beta program is out look in the Samsung members app under notices to register its limited to 5000 I have locked Tesco network and was able to install the update.

I'm not holding my breath for beta Samsung should take a leaf out of Apple's books beta available for all networks not just a couple of networks and selected countries I'm in uk so going to miss out what a disappointment for such a large company so slow.
