I have had this happen and I thought it might have been a certain app but like you said it was OK before the oreo update So there must be a bug or the apps that you are using may need updating so that they are compatible with oreo, hopefully Samsung will take note and fix the problem if it is the oreo update causing the problem.

After last update of the game launcher app it seems to pause the game when iam playing its happend a few times on several games I know it's the launcher because it dose not happen when I do not use the launcher as anyone else had this problem And lf so is there a way to stop it.

Funny you say that I've just had a look at play store and noticed two updates but I had to do it manually but I checked and relised I have it set to update automatically when connected to WiFi and iam connected to WiFi so yes looks as tho there is a problem for the bixby voice the only answer is that Samsung must think we still live in the medieval ages and our accent might not be understood by poor bixby 😂

I think that Samsung should upgrade s8 users to the s9 regardless of unlocked device,or contract device as a jester of good will for this mess at least we will get try oreo😂

As much as I like android and Samsung phones, they have proven that once they snare you with a promising phone they can't keep there promise of updates or let people know exactly what's happening I feel that it will be time to jump ship, defect to the forbidden fruit I just wander how many others will jump ship

I think that the problem is that maybe Samsung don't seem to have qualified engineers or there not doing there job properly, iam also on november security patch 2017 and like you said it is now march 2018 there is no excuse samsung must think we as customers are happy just to wait n wait sorry Samsung we are not. Buck up and ship out ,this is how to lose customers, great hardware or not I will be thinking twice about purchasing another Samsung phone especially arfter all this, I might be tempted to taste the forbidden fruit as they seem to look after there customers and keep them updated.

As an s8 owner and have not recived oreo update yet and its the 1st of March i feel that Samsung should add project treble, to the device so when we recive updates it don't take as long as it has this time, if they can add it to the s9 then there is no reason not to add it to the s8, or are we as s8 owners no longer as important to Samsung as s9 users , I find it ridiculous that we pay the price for a premium product and just do not get the sevice we deserve so if anyone else thinks that project treble is a good idea for the galaxy s8 let us know.

I was wandering if anyone has recived the oreo update yet, for s8 I've read it was released in Europe, but I was wandering when it's likely to be rolled out to those using contract phones, I just feel that the update should be pushed put all s8 users not just beta users, we all paid the same high price for our phones.
