Having had some experience previously and having the tools to do so i replaced the battery myself, all has gone smoothly until attempting to boot the phone using the battery,it will charge and say it is charged too 100% but refuses to boot using the battery power, when the old battery expired could that have caused the white residue on the board i mentioned in my first post? Admittedly I should have gotten an approved specialist to change the battery however I do not have a store in my city (that i know of) and didnt want to wait and pay £70 for it to be changed with the same issue as im having now. Hope this helps some, im assuming the battery residue has either shorted a connection or is just blocking the board from accepting the charge? Cheers!

Hello one and all, In a spot of bother here, it is not urgent as my older 32GB model is in perfect working order and i am using that as they are on the same EE network, However, after the battery died in my 128GB (It completely died, expanded and gave out a lot of heat) I replaced said battery with a brand new one and now it will not run on battery power, It will run perfectly fine on mains charger power but not battery, I have left the battery charging as is asked with new batteries though I did notice white residue on the board where the battery connects to the mainboard, could this be the issue? Thanks in advance P.S. The phone is now out of warranty so the cheapest methods of fixing or any pointers for good repair services are appreciated
