Update. Just tried retarting the watch before recharging and it's now showing 49% so hopefully all now OK.

I just got the update a few mins ago. I had fully charged my watch last night and a few mins ago before the update the battery was at 54%. Immediately the update finished, the watch beeped with a low battery warning (6%) and within a couple of mins the watch turned itself off. As I am at work with no charger I will need to wait until later to recharge and then see what happens. Why does stuff like this keep happening with Samsung updates???

Mine does this from time to time. When it happens the @ symbol then becomes available if selecting shift +2.

Yes with the watch not connected to the phone via Bluetooth, autoconnect does not kick in. But I have the autoconnect option turned off, so it should not be happening i.e. I should not need to turn Bluetooth off. The software is up to date.

Phone is S9plus. Earphones are Enacfire E12. I also have a Galaxy S3 smart watch connected to the phone via Bluetooth. I believe this connection is the cause of the autoconnect never turning off despite me turning off autoconnect.

As I have Bluetooth earphones I originally set the 'auto answer after 2 seconds' to ON when these are connected. But this still works when I disconnect the earphones - which I don't want. Even after turning auto answer to OFF it still kicks in. I can only seem to kill auto anwser by turning off Bluetooth.

Using the Samsung Health app on my S7, I have set up the 'Active minutes per day' target to 120 minutes and then each morning I receive a summary of my performance compared to the target etc. During the day, opening the phone app shows me the current total of active minutes achieved and also displays this as a percentage of the overall target. I was hoping this same data would be available on display on my Galaxy S3 watch but cannot find a way to achieve this. Also an alert from the watch when I hit say 90% of the target to encourage me over the line would be great.
