Hi Just an update on my phone. I first went to my carrier's service center (3). The repair shop was closed and they told me to send an email so they could check with the workshop if they would repair it. After waiting a week of hearing nothing, I gave up on my carrier's service center. I went to an officiel Samsung center instead (Mentech). I got an email after a few hours. The mainboard in the phone was dead. They couldn't see why and noted that there was no visual cause as to why it died, so they replaced it no questions asked. That awesome Samsung, thanks. I picked up the phone after work. Unfournantly that means all my data the two years is gone. Probably should start taking backups. :-) Thanks again for the help. Regards William
