This issue seems to have been resolved with the latest update from about 3 weeks ago (i forget the version number).   One thing to be aware of though is that if you have set the tv to power off after a certain amount of time (which I believe is enabled by default), the tv will turn off after that time and not turn back on until you use the remote - Art mode is seen as the TV being on. ... Make sure you have disabled the auto power off option in the settings. The tv treats Art Mode as being on and so powers the TV off after that time. You then need to use the remote to switch it back on. Also make sure you have the latest firmware version installed. ... View more

Yep, I have this issue. It worked a couple of times now it never works anymore. The screen stays on permenantly. The switch off at night mode also doesn't work. How about a response from Samsung on this obvious issue. ... View more
