if it looks like silicon, it probably is. But don't use the cheap stuff from B&Q. Use the dogs b*ll*cks from Screwfix https://www.screwfix.com/p/evo-stik-the-dogs-b-ll-cks-adhesive-sealant-clear-290ml/991fj that'll do the job. make sure you Wipe contact surfaces with solvent first.
