My fitbit has started working again but only if I connect in a roundabout way. First I have set the fitbit to 'always connect' via the app. Then I turn on the bluetooth, location etc but DO NOT deliberately connect either via the blueooth settings or the fitbit app. I just leave it for maybe 10 mins and it connects. I previously contacted fitbit directly as Samsung wasn't helping and bluetooth works with everything else.   They asked me to send over screenshots. I left it a while and then when I went to take screenshots it actually synced! This happened for about a week or so and now this is not working again. I went through their troubleshooting steps and this involved unpairing the device, now I cant re-connect it at all. It comes up saying they have found the device and the code, I type this in and it tries to conenct for several minutes before failing. During this my phone will give me several notifcations of 'connect to charge 2' then 'disconnected'. As my bluetooth works fine with my speakers and car, I am thinking that it is the fitbit itself or the fitbit app.  ... View more

I had my motherboard replaced on my phone too, it did not solve the problem.   I made sure I checked my bluetooth before i left the store. What we found was, at first my bluetooth worked. But once I downloaded fitbit and tried to connect this didn't work. My phone would then not connect to anything else via bluetooth. We then removed the fibit app and then bluetooth suddenly worked again for everything else. This suggests there may be something wrong with the fitbit app, so I am going to contact them directly regarding this.  ... View more

Hi, OP here.   I actually took my phone to a Samsung centre last weekend but was waiting for it to be resolved before I posted Their initial diagnostics showed nothing wrong. It then went to the techs in back and I left it there for a few hours. At the end of the day they told me it's something wrong with the mainboard. I'm not very tech savvy so I'm a bit confused how the software update can affect the hardware but we'll see. They couldn't order it in until the Tuesday (this was at the weekend) and I couldn't get there during the week, so we agreed they will order the part and I will bring it in this coming weekend, and they can fix it on the day. However I called to check it was in on Thursday and I was told they don't have it, and they don't order parts until the phone is physically there to be repaired. This means I will be taking it in this weekend and not having a phone for a week, not very happy as they told me the incorrect info in store. I might as well have left it there last weekend, so I am feeling quite frustrated with them.   Once this gets gets resolved I'll confirm whether it's fixed the issue.  ... View more
